21.04.06: It is a yellow and red flower the one portrayed on Euroflora 06 card, distributed at Euroflora at Poste Italiane's stand. It was the pupils of school M. D'Azeglio who had the idea to pay tribute to Euroflora with a postcard and chose a flowering petunia as its subject.

21.04.06: Royono, the schooner that belonged to John F. Kennedy at the "Old America" port - By the courtesy of Royono's current owner, Euroflora's visitors now have the opportunity to see the boat live: indeed, the schooner is moored in its most natural environment, i.e. the "Old America" port reconstructed for Euroflora in the area hosting the plants and spices which, through the centuries, have reached Europe via the sea. The sailing vessel symbolises the age of the great transoceanic voyages, of trade and commercial relations between the Old and the New continents.

21.04.06: Climbing and a rope bridge for the children at Euroflora: The Italian Army's Liguria Military Command, in cooperation with Coopsette, has fitted a small equipped park in front of Fieracongressi (the congress centre), where -between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.- children have the opportunity to try out climbing and crossing a small rope bridge. Qualified personnel belonging to the Alpine Troops support and assist children to ensure that everything takes place in the safest conditions.

21.04.06: Euroflora's dvd on sale at the fairgrounds. The DVD includes an over-40-minute video showing all the main features of the show. The video was produced by Graphic Sector and Photoshop - Fiera di Genova's official photographers - and costs 14 Euros.
A multimedia CD including a virtual tour of Euroflora is now on sale at 12 Euros, while the DVD containing the 100 most beautiful pictures costs 8 Euros - all pictures are in high resolution and can be printed out.
Finally, a music CD is also on sale at 6 Euros - de facto a compilation featuring twelve new-age tracks, nine of which are brand new. every track is named after a flower.
All these CDs and DVDs are on sale in the eight official points of sale inside the fairgrounds, one of which is located inside the main reception.

21.04.06: At the Flower Theatre the art of flower arrangement: Visitors have the chance of admiring a real gallery of floral works of art, including the works of a hundred emerging young artists and master florists, who compete at Euroflora in the various flower arrangement sections. This part of the show also includes a series of trendy flower arrangements, by seventy-six master florists.

21.04.06: A "live" space inside the Flower Theatre, organised and managed by Sanremo Flower Market is the everyday "stage" for master florists, who take care of maintaining the works on display and explain the secrets of an art which is appreciated by an increasingly high number of people.

21.04.06: At the Flower Theatre, Mozart's music, re-interpreted every night by renowned master florists, who create new arrangements live taking inspiration from the music. Visitors have the opportunity to take a music break entirely devoted to Mozart and listen to a series of short concerts every night from 8.30 p.m. to 9.15 p.m.

21.04.06: The "dreamlike garden" by GNTP Ingegneri Associato and Marco Cei is the winner of the contest "Gardens to dream", the special section of Euroflora's 756 technical and aesthetic contests. The second prize was awarded to the "small garden" by Raimondo Congiu, while Umberto Andolfato's nest - garden ranked third.
