Per il terzo anno consecutivo Facto Edzioni, nell'ambito di TECHNOFOLIES/INTERSCHAU, consegnerà i Golden Pony Awards, giunti alla loro 5^ edizione. Il premio, unico nel suo genere in Europa, è rilasciato a riconoscimento dell'eccellenza nei servizi e nei guadagni conseguiti dagli operatori internazionali del mondo dello spettacolo viaggiante, dei parchi di divertimento e FECs.

L'intento, come sempre, è puntare sull'internazionalità e su strutture e persone che, oltre a eccellere, siano a loro modo dei trendsetter nell'ambito dell'industria del divertimento. Secondo gli organizzatori, la scelta del pony quale emblema del premio è stata dettata dalle atmosfere che l'animale richiama alla memoria, ovvero le vecchie giostre, la tradizione, i parchi e più in generale l'ambiente dello spettacolo. Tre le categorie premiate:

Spettacolisti Viaggianti: persone e personalità appartenenti al mondo dello spettacolo viaggiante e del divertimento, gestori di luna park e membri di associazioni di categoria.
Parchi di divertimento: la storia, la suggestività delle attrazioni, l'originalità della tematizzazione, l'abilità manageriale e di previsione dei trend, il successo in termini di visitatori e il potenziale di sviluppo.
FEC: Centri d'intrattenimento familiare (tematici e non) e centri commerciali.

Durante la scorsa edizione, svoltasi a Genova nella splendida cornice di Villa Puri, alla presenza di oltre 230 invitati - inclusi gli sponsor dell'evento: Fiera di Genova, Dotto Trains, Fabbri Group e Memo Park - 31 statuette sono state consegnate ad altrettanti operatori provenienti da 17 Paesi. I riconoscimenti sono andati a prestigiosi nomi del mondo dell'amusement e dello spettacolo viaggiante, tra cui la famiglia circense Zoppé (USA) e figure "storiche" del settore come Romolo Fabbri, fondatore di Far Fabbri  - uno dei principali produttori italiani di major rides - e i fratelli Bertazzon, capostipite della Bertazzon 3B nota per le sue fiabesche (e interamente artigianali) giostre a cavallo.

Quest'anno i Pony d'oro in attesa di consegna sono circa una trentina. Nella rosa dei 50 candidati ad oggi in lizza, anche il Principato di Monaco, Spagna, Svizzera, Turchia, Irlanda, Danimarca e l'India.

THE KEY-WORD WILL BE INTERNATIONALISM

For the third year in a row, during TECHNOFOLIES/INTERSCHAU, the Publishing House Facto Edizioni will present the Golden Pony Awards, which this year are being presented for the fifth time. These prestigious prizes, which are unique in Europe, are awarded to acknowledge the excellence - in terms of both services and profits - achieved by international operators in the travelling show business, fun parks and FECs.

The objective is, as has always been, to focus on internationalism and on facilities and people that not only stand out in their sector, but that are also trendsetters in the amusement industry. The pony, explain the organisers, was chosen as the symbol of this award because of the atmospheres this animal evokes, i.e. old merry-go-rounds, traditions, parks and, in general, the world of entertainment. Three categories will be awarded the prize:

Travelling Showmen - people belonging to the travelling show business and the world of entertainment, amusement parks managers, and members of professional associations.

Fun parks - the history, the charm of rides, the creativity of theme parks and installations, managerial skills and the ability to forecast trends, success in terms of visitors and development potential.

FECs - (theme and non-theme) family entertainment centres and malls.

During last year’s prize-giving ceremony, which was held in Genoa in the charming setting of Villa Puri and attended by more than 230 people - including the sponsors (Fiera di Genova, Dotto Trains, Fabbri Group and Memo Park) - 31 Golden Ponies were presented to as many operators from 17 different countries. The Ponies were awarded to prestigious representatives of the amusement and travelling show business, including the circus family Zoppè (USA) and “historical figures” in this sector, like Romolo Fabbri, the founder of Far Fabbri – one of the leading Italian manufacturers of major rides - and brothers Bertazzon, who established Bertazzon 3B, very well known for its fairy-tail (and entirely hand-made) merry-go-rounds with horses.

This year approximately thirty Golden Ponies will be awarded. The current 50 nominees will represent, among other countries, the Principality of Monaco, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ireland, Denmark, and India.
