"Interschau-Technofolies, rappresenta l'appuntamento internazionale ed il principale forum tecnico di aggiornamento su argomenti di interesse per tutti gli spettacolisti viaggianti e l'industria del divertimento" ha detto Alfred Ritter, Presidente dell'Associazione Federale degli Spettacolisti Viaggianti Tedeschi (DSB) e dell'Unione Europea degli Esercenti (ESU). Questa opinione concorda con l'opinione di numerosi espositori e potenziali visitatori. Considerando la situazione attuale delle prenotazioni di spazi espositivi, Interschau-Technofolies, la prima manifestazione fieristica congiunta dell'industria europea del divertimento, promette di essere un grande successo: gli organizzatori stimano che presso la Nuova Fiera di Stoccarda, dal 29 al 31 ottobre prossimi, saranno presenti circa 150 espositori e 10.000 visitatori.
Interschau-Technofolies è stata creata lo scorso anno dall'unione di due importanti eventi per il settore dei parchi di divertimento e spettacoli viaggianti quali "Interschau" in Germania e "Technofolies" in Italia. Il primo evento congiunto si è tenuto dal 25 al 27 ottobre 2007 a Genova ed ha visto oltre il trenta per cento di visitatori provenienti da fuori Italia. Il Nuovo Quartiere fieristico di Stoccarda, ospiterà questo nuovo evento congiunto per la prima volta quest'anno. "Gli operatori europei dei parchi di divertimento e degli spettacoli viaggianti, ma soprattutto i produttori di attrazioni ed i fornitori di servizi, stanno dimostrando grande interesse nei confronti nel nuovo evento congiunto", ha affermato Joachim Schubart Direttore di divisione della Fiera di Stoccarda. "Un ruolo importante per questo evento è anche rappresentato dalla città di Stoccarda e dal nuovo quartiere fieristico che sta riscontrando un grande consenso sia da parte degli espositori che dei visitatori".
Forte presenza delle associazioni dell'industria del divertimento
Il supporto delle maggiori associazioni dell'industria del divertimento rappresenta un ulteriore fattore molto importante: Interschau-Technofolies sarà infatti supportata dall'ESU (Unione degli Spettacolisti Viaggianti Europei), dall'AiCE (Amusement Industry Council of Europe), la DSB (Associazione Federale degli Esercenti Tedeschi) e dall'Associazione Nazionale Esercenti Spettacoli Viaggianti e Parchi ANESV-AGIS.
Le associazioni hanno annunciato un importante programma collaterale. Si svolgerà ad esempio a Stoccarda una riunione estesa del comitato dell'ESU, mentre la DSB organizzerà a margine della Fiera la riunione del suo direttivo.
Sono in programma anche numerosi seminari e workshop sui seguenti argomenti: "Standard di sicurezza delle attrazioni in Europa", "Scuola ed istruzione" e "Regole di igiene a livello europeo".
L'obiettivo degli organizzatori e delle associazioni di categoria è di imporre Interschau-Technofolies come il nuovo evento europeo di riferimento - progettato da europei per gli europei - che risponda alle esigenze dell'industria del divertimento dell'intero continente. Le aree espositive presenteranno attrazioni per luna park, attrezzature per parchi di divertimento e spettacoli viaggianti, gadget e veicoli per la vendita, giochi per parchi a tema, decorazioni, tecnologie per lo spettacolo e tutti i servizi correlati.
Il più moderno quartiere fieristico d'Europa con infrastrutture di prima classe.
Il Nuovo Quartiere Fieristico di Stoccarda è attualmente la fiera più moderna d'Europa e può vantare infrastrutture di prima classe. E' situato di fronte all'aeroporto di Stoccarda che ha collegamenti con 120 città europee raggiungibili con una o due ore di volo.
L'autostrada A8, che collega Stoccarda a Monaco, passa a fianco alla fiera e la stazione ferroviaria del treno ad alta velocità ICE può essere facilmente raggiunta con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico.
Un ampio numero di hotel nelle immediate vicinanze della Nuova Fiera di Stoccarda permettono inoltre sia ai visitatori che agli espositori un soggiorno piacevole.
Ma non è tutto: Stoccarda, capoluogo della regione di Baden-Württemberg, e tutta la regione circostante, offrono un'ampia gamma di attrattive culturali, attrazioni, emozionanti strutture per il divertimento e destinazioni turistiche. Gli amanti della tecnologia potranno ad esempio apprezzare tre attrazioni a livello mondiale, come il nuovo museo della Mercedes-Benz, il nuovo museo della Porche e il Museo della Tecnica di Sinsheim. Il SI Experience Centre, che comprende due teatri ed il centro benessere "Schwabenquellen" si trova a cinque minuti di macchina dalla fiera. Non bisogna dimenticare anche due parchi di divertimento come l'Europa-Park ed il Tripsdrill e numerose opportunità di shopping nelle immediate vicinanze, tra cui il Metzingen Outlet City.
Inoltre due dei più grandi festival della birra in Europa e nel mondo - il Festival di Primavera di Stoccarda e il Festival della Birra di Cannstatt, che si tiene da ben 163 anni - si svolgono a Stoccarda ogni anno.

At any rate according to the current booking situation, Interschau-Technofolies, the first joint European industry trade fair to be held on German soil, will probably be a complete success: the organisers are expecting around 150 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors at the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre from 29 to 31 October 2008.
Interschau-Technofolies was created last year by merging the two leading trade fairs for leisure parks, amusement and showmen, i.e. "Interschau" in Germany and "Technofolies" in Italy. The first joint event in Genoa from 25 to 27 October 2007 proved to be a success with more than 30 per cent of visitors coming from outside Italy. The New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre will play host to this joint event for the first time this year. "European amusement park operators and showmen, but especially manufacturers and service providers are showing great interest in the new joint event", said Joachim Schubart, Divisional Director of Messe Stuttgart. "This interest is also being reinforced by the city of Stuttgart and our new trade fair centre, which is highly praised by both exhibitors and visitors."
Strong presence of industry associations
The support by the major industry associations is also another important factor: Interschau-Technofolies 2008 will be supported by the European Showmen's Union (ESU), the Amusement Industry Council of Europe (AiCE), the Federal Association of German Showmen (DSB) and the Italian industry association Anesv-Agis. They have announced an extensive accompanying programme. For example, an extended committee meeting of the European Showmen's Union and an industry meeting organised by the ESU will take place in Stuttgart. The Federal Association of German Showmen will hold its committee meeting on the periphery of the trade fair. Numerous talks and workshops on the following topics, for example, are also planned: "Safety standards of funfair rides in Europe", "School and education" and "Hygiene regulations at European level".
The objective of the organisers and industry associations is to establish Interschau-Technofolies as the new leading European trade fair - designed by Europeans for Europeans - which satisfies showmen's requirements and the special needs of the amusement park industry on the continent.
The exhibition areas will extend from funfair rides, equipment for amusement parks and showmen, funfair materials, souvenirs and sales vehicles, play equipment for theme parks, decoration products and event technology through to industry-related services.
Europe's most modern trade fair centre with a first-class infrastructure
The New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre is currently the most modern trade fair centre in Europe and boasts a first-class infrastructure. It is located next door to Stuttgart Airport which is served by flights from around 120 European cities within one to two hours. The A8 motorway from Stuttgart to Munich runs directly past the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre while the ICE railway station in Stuttgart can be reached quickly and easily by public transport. Sufficient hotel capacities in the immediate vicinity of the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre mean that guests and stand personnel can easily be accommodated.
But that's not all: Stuttgart, the state capital of Baden-Württemberg, and the surrounding region, offer a huge range of cultural highlights, attractions, exciting leisure facilities and tourist destinations. Technical enthusiasts, for example, can enjoy three world-class attractions, i.e. the new Mercedes-Benz Museum, the new Porsche Museum and Sinsheim Technical Museum.
